NJ Certified School Nurse
The Certified School Nurse is responsible for maintaining
student health records, conducting health screenings, writing
and annually updating any accommodation plans including
individualized healthcare plans and emergency healthcare plans
and the implementation of all requirements outlined in the New
Jersey Administrative Code N.J.A.C. 6A: 16-1.2 through 2.4.
Teacher
A teacher is responsible for the planning, implementation,
and evaluation of individualized skill acquisition and
behavior treatment programs for learners enrolled in the day
education program as well as providing family consultation
services to assigned families. There are also opportunities to
participate in research and professional conferences.
Requirements:

NJ Teacher of the Handicapped Certificate
or Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certificate

Experience with individuals with autism
-
Experience with the principles of Applied
Behavior Analysis
Instructional Aide:
An instructional aide assists the teacher with the
planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized
skill acquisition and behavior treatment programs. There are
also opportunities to participate in research and professional
conferences.
Requirements:

BA/BS degree

Experience working with individuals with
autism or special needs preferred, but not required

Experience with the principles of Applied
Behavior Analysis a plus, however, not required. Training
will be provided.
