practical education and support into the adult years. Adult
programming continues Alpine Learning Group’s dedicated
instruction in self-care, recreation, and leisure skills,
and focuses on facilitating community integration by placing
and supporting young adults in paid and internship job
settings. The adult program is presently housed in a suite
within an office building in Ridgewood, NJ. There is a
capital campaign underway for the building of a new adult
learning facility on the campus on which the school is
located. Started in 2004, Alpine

“…almost every aspect of the
classrooms appealed to me. The physical lay out, the
schedule, the teacher to student ratio, the materials,
the data collection systems, the learning activities,
the cool gadgets, the exceptional dignified treatment of
the students, the strong focus on research, continuing
education at all levels, and the significant
contributions to the national and international
behavioral treatment of children with disabilities. You
have indeed established a model that we all can benefit
from.”
