Inclusion and Transition

Learning Alongside Typical Peers

While many children with autism will require lifelong support and treatment, early intensive behavioral intervention may allow some children to participate in general education programs alongside typical peers. At Alpine Learning Group, we are committed to teaching the skills necessary for inclusion and identifying learner’s readiness to transition to general education programs.

As part of our inclusion and transition programming, specialized staff members provide:

  • Regular assessment of each student’s readiness

  • Individualized preparation programs for transitioning students

  • Training and support for public school teachers, staff, and classmates

  • On-site supervision of inclusion programming

  • On-going follow-up consultation
